ACS Signs Seven-Year, $67 Million Contract with Marin Healthcare District

DALLAS, TEXAS: April 1, 2009 – Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE: ACS) today announced a $67 million, seven-year contract with Marin Healthcare District (MHD) to provide strategic consulting and outsourced services to Marin General Hospital, the largest acute care hospital in Marin County, California.

ACS will implement an enterprise-wide hospital information and electronic medical record (EMR) system, a full-scale outsourcing of the hospital’s IT department and provide the hospital’s business office with complete revenue cycle services.

ACS will apply its extensive knowledge of clinical and patient accounting transformation services, including its vast experience with McKesson’s suite of products, to assist MHD with the implementation of the McKesson Paragon system, an all-inclusive hospital information system. ACS will also deliver a complete information technology outsourcing solution, including all data center services, telecommunications, disaster recovery and help desk, application, desktop and network services
