Sr. Consultant – PACS

Our Management Consulting organization currently has a direct fulltime opening for a Sr Consultant with PACS experience. This is a travel position and no relocation is needed. 

Major Areas Of Specialization

Must be knowledgeable of Picture Archiving and Communications (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS) market, vendors, and technology, with preference for someone from within the industry with strong customer interaction skills, demonstrated management and/or project management skills desired

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate and lead PACS consulting engagements, including Readiness Assessments, Vendor Evaluation and Selections, and Implementation Assistance
• Conduct PACS project management oversight, acceptance testing, etc.
• Potentially serve as interim PACS system administrator
• Participate and/or manage client sites for which we are providing total PACS solution

Required Experience & Education

• Bachelors in technical discipline, such as BSEE degree or equivalent experience
• MBA in addition to technical background a plus, but not essential
• Prior consulting experience a plus but not essential
• Radiology department management experience preferable
  Prior RIS/PACS experience essential
• Demonstrated project management skills/capabilities
• Writing and analytical skills sufficient to meet demands of consulting assignments
