Out Outsourcing team is actively searching for a Lawson System Engineer to support our clients around the country.  The Lawson System Engineer is responsible for monitoring, installation, technical support, update, patching and maintenance of the Lawson full suite of application solutions
Major Duties & Responsibilities          

• Liaison between vendor and client for technical issues
• Perform scheduled maintenance and participate in system down times
• Install vendor supplied patches and updates
• Synchronize production, test, and miscellaneous environments as required
• Support peripheral devices as necessary
• Resolve technical issues as they occur
• Verify and test backups as required
• Monitor system and database performance
• Setup and maintain periodic maintenance and housekeeping tasks
• Participate in on-call support and rotation
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Education                          

• Two to five years of Lawson technical support experience working with Lawson version 8.0.x environment and Lawson version 8.0.x applications including but not limited to Portal, Human Resource, Payroll, and Materials Management is required.
• Lawson system foundations version 9 (LSF9) and Lawson applications version 9 experience is preferred.
• Basic AIX/UNIX/LINUX administration knowledge is required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 server administration is required
• General Knowledge of Intel based server hardware administration and support is required
• Experience run SQL queries and updates is required
• General knowledge of local area network support is preferred.
• Knowledge of HL7, Lawson programming and related interface tools is a plus
