GE/IDX Business Development Manager

ACS-HCS, GE/IDX Consulting Services has an immediate opportunity for a Business Development Manager. This position is unique as it combines the hands-on GE Centricity Business (formerly IDX Flowcast) technical skills of a Senior Consultant/Project Manager with the business development skills of a Sales Executive.

Required Skills:

-  Strong GE Centricity Business development/implementation Project Management experience in a functional and/or technical capacity.
-  Proven track record in successfully marketing Ambulatory, Project Management and HIS Implementation services. 
-  Proven ability to identify, propose and close large contracts (Several hundred thousand dollars with multiple resources over extended timelines).
-  Specific knowledge of GE Centricity Business market with active contacts with C-level executives.
-  Hands-on experience implementing/supporting GE Centricity Business applications as a Senior Consultant a plus.
- Independent Consulting experience is a plus.
-  Strong written and verbal communications skills with all levels of client personnel.
-  Ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
-  Excellent presentation skills with heavy experience utilizing PowerPoint and other Presentation software; experienced in presenting to large and/or senior-level audiences.
-  Self-motivating and self-directed.
-  "Team player", collaborative style.
-  Analytical approach to problem-solving and opportunity analysis. 
-  Exceptional follow-through and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

-  Market our GE Centricity Business Consulting and Project Management services to current and potential clients.
-  Prospecting, proposal development, client relationship management, engagement management.
-  Coordinate and manage the business growth strategy; track and report results on new business development activity.
-  Conduct Marketing Research to determine new markets and business opportunities as well as identify new consulting lines of service for the skill domain based on Market trends.
-  Take on billable Project/Engagement Management or other consulting responsibilities as required.

Other Qualifications:

-  The qualified candidate will have worked with GE Centricity Business products and/or associated technologies: College and/or Advanced Degree, experience in hospital and/or physician practice environments particularly IT, consulting experience, proven sales and marketing experience. 

-  Travel is required for this position, however, relocation is not.
