Epic Skill Domain Business Development Manager

Summary:
This position will be responsible for the following ACS-HCS Epic Skill Domain Business Development activities: developing and closing new consulting business opportunities working with our national sales team and extending existing client relationships while maintaining project utilization.
This person should also be able to maintain a contact network of executive management. Professional experience should be greater than 7 years in healthcare information management and the individual should have a good understanding of the business issues facing healthcare providers, and the operational and functional requirements of specific departments.
Responsibilities:

  • Sales - Ability to identify and cultivate business; develop proposals and close business on small to large projects, working with our national divisions
  • Project Utilization – Responsible for maintaining utilization while achieving sales goals
  • Client Management - Overall executive contact with clients, ability to communicate effectively at many levels within the client organization and ability to manage a client relationship and delivery of services at clients

Key Skill Sets:

  • Senior-level person, management presence
  • Prefer Project Management and/or Epic systems experience, but like systems experience sufficient
  • Excellent communicator (both verbal and written, a good presenter)
  • Broad and current healthcare industry knowledge
  • Strong, demonstrable marketing/sales experience or aptitude (must be comfortable with all types of marketing strategies, including cold calls)
  • Organized, must be able to multi-task
  • Knows the geography (e.g., member of industry associations, community involvement, numerous contacts, etc.)
  • Entrepreneurial
  • Ability to work in a team environment, "team player"

Other:

Salary (base + incentives) varies based on background and experience level.

Travel Required up to 100%.
