ACS Healthcare Solutions has nationwide opportunities for healthcare information system (HIS) professionals who possess technical, application, and/or project management experience with Allscripts Touchworks applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on design, build, implementation and support experience of Allscripts Touchworks Electronic Health Record (EHR) version 10 and 11.
• An understanding of work-flows, best practices, and the latest technology to improve not only patient and departmental processes but those which add to the healthcare organization’s bottom line. but those which add to the healthcare organization’s bottom line. but those which add to the healthcare organization’s bottom line.
• Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service focus to build and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently or on a project team.
• Ability to work effectively with non-technical and technical staff and vendors.
• Experience with MS office software, and Microsoft operating environments
• Background in nursing or medical records of an in-patient or ambulatory environment is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Travel is required; however, relocation is not. Consultants travel to the client during the week and home for the weekends/holidays.
