Regional Vice President, Business Development - Central Region

ACS-HCS is seeking a Regional Vice President of Business Development for the Central Region.  Territory will include the states of: Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio.

A candidate for the position of Regional Vice President, Business Development must be able to work with all levels of healthcare client management; will be an expert in some areas of healthcare and conversant in a number of areas. The candidate will have a strong contact network of healthcare executive and departmental level management.

Professional experience will include a minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience with the individual having a good understanding of the issues facing healthcare providers and the operations/functional requirements of specific departments. The candidate must posses a level of formal and professional education commensurate with the demands of the position.

To be considered for the Regional Vice President, Business Development position, the candidate must have demonstrated experience in the following areas:

  • Ability to identify and cultivate clients, develop proposals, close business on small to large projects,
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain executive level contact with clients; to communicate effectively at many levels within the client organization; manage a client relationship and delivery of services to client.

And possess the following key skill sets:

  • Senior level person, management presence
  • Excellent communicator, possess strong verbal and written skills
  • Broad and current healthcare industry knowledge
  • Strong, demonstrable marketing/sales experience must be comfortable with all types of marketing strategies, including cold calls
  • Organized, must be able to multi-task
  • Knows the geography well, numerous healthcare contacts within the geography
  • Entrepreneurial
  • Ability to work in a team environment
