ACS-HCS Outsourcing Solutions seeks a Revenue Cycle Manager to manage Revenue Cycle Analysts and McKesson STAR Financial Applications in New Britain, CT.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage and support McKesson STAR Patient Accounting application and a staff of 6 Analysts.
- Experience with Cerner Millennium ProFile application a plus.
- Support Patient Management, Electronic Billing and Registration applications.
- Coordinate work order and project priorities, workplans, timelines and budgets.
- Work with client’s departments and Data Center staff to ensure value driven results from STAR and other legacy applications.
- Single point of accountability for McKesson STAR related projects and work orders.
- Creates and reviews project proposal or plans for own projects and for those managed by application analyst staff and sets project objectives and deliverables.
- Manages scope and scope change requests.
- Assembles the project team, assigns and monitors work of team members and provides guidance and leadership.
- Input into staff hiring.
- Backup to the Director of Applications.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

-  3-5 year’s hands-on experience implementing and/or supporting McKesson STAR Patient Accounting applications.
- Experience supporting Patient Management, Electronic Billing and Registration applications.
- Experience managing complex projects (with multi-month timelines), organizational change and communication issues. 
- Experience with process improvement and development of strategic business plans.
- Personnel Management/Team Lead experience in Healthcare IT environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (both verbal and written), as well as excellent organizational skills.
- Strong customer service focus to build and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Must currently live near or willing to relocate to New Britain, CT.
