Management Consultant – Patient Access

ACS HCS has opportunities for professionals with Director-level or hands-on management experience of Registration, Scheduling, Admission and / or Patient Access. The primary function of this consulting position is to implement revenue cycle improvement initiatives to increase cash collections in the Patient Access area.

The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of how an efficient Front End operates, appropriate staffing requirements, and policy reforms for increased revenue. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how their ideas and procedures have resulted in increased revenue to the hospital organization. Additional qualifications include:

• Hands on management or Director level experience for Registration, Scheduling, Admissions and/or Patient Access area.
• Expert understanding of patient flow, insurance identification, collection of co-payments, proper patient eligibility verification.
• Experience with leading healthcare provider software suites (Cerner, McKesson, IDX, Siemens etc…)
