Management Consultant – HIM Medical Records

ACS Healthcare Solutions has opportunities for HIM professionals with strong experience with managing revenue cycle improvement initiatives for Medical Records.

The successful candidate will have hands on management experience in Medical Records with proven ability to implement revenue cycle initiatives to increase cash collections. Candidates must have a strong understanding of efficient HIM processes and appropriate staffing requirements. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how their ideas and procedures have resulted in improvements in outstanding A/R and increased revenue. Additional qualifications include:

• RHIA, RHIT and CCS certification
• Charge Description Master experience
• Expert understanding of Medical Records process flow including coding compliance, reduction in delinquent medical record counts, reduction in coding backlog days.
• Familiar with an encoding product.
• HIPAA compliance, Medical Review board for HIM policy and procedure implementation.
• Experience with leading healthcare provider software suites (Cerner, McKesson, IDX, Siemens etc…)
