ACS-HCS Outsourcing Solutions seeks a Clinical Applications Manager to manage Cerner Millennium applications and team of Clinical Analysts in New Britain, CT.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manages a suite of 13 major Cerner Millennium “Nets” and a staff of 10 Analysts.
- Single point of accountability for Cerner Millennium related projects and work orders.
- Creates and reviews project proposal or plans for own projects and for those managed by application analyst staff and sets project objectives and deliverables.
- Manages scope and scope change requests.
- Assembles the project team, assigns and monitors work of team members and provides guidance and leadership.
- Input into staff hiring.
- Backup to the Director of Applications.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

-  3-5 year’s hands-on experience implementing and/or supporting Cerner Millennium applications (ie.  PowerChart Core, CareNet, CPOE, INet, PathNet, PharmNet, ProVision, ProFile, RadNet, Scheduling, SurgiNet).
- Experience managing complex projects (with multi-month timelines), organizational change and communication issues. 
- Experience with process improvement and development of strategic business plans.
- Personnel Management/Team Lead experience in Healthcare IT environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (both verbal and written), as well as excellent organizational skills.
- Strong customer service focus to build and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Must currently live near or willing to relocate to New Britain, CT.
